COMMENTS FROM SENATOR BEN SASSE, AND THE READING OF THE PLEDGE

Today on my show I play pieces of Senator Ben Sasse's comments from the Judge Kavanaugh confirmation hearing, and I read on air for the first time a document I wrote six years ago - that I had forgotten about - that was intended to be signed by every candidate running for Congress for the purpose of getting them to commit to being fair, decent and honest once in office. It's called The Pledge, and it would change our government completely if politicians followed it. Warning: I get a bit fired up about it all toward the end.
