THE MOM WITH A SIMPLE IDEA HELPING THOUSANDS OF MOTHERS IN NEED

We all saw it - the image of the 3-year-old Syrian boy who lay drowned on the beach. His family was fleeing the war, and his mom and brother tried to get to the Greek island of Kos from Turkey.

But one mom who saw it, Cristal Logothetis, couldn’t shake that image and decided she had to do something to help. And with one very simple idea (utilizing something sitting unused in her garage), and a couple of posts on social media, within days Cristal was swamped with donations and thousands of that same item other moms also had in their garages. Having never done anything like this before, she packed up the items and flew to Kos and did what she had originally set out to do – she brought aid and relief to countless mothers struggling to get their children to a safe and secure place, and out of harms way.

This is a story of one person who simply wanted to help, and with very little effort, started a worldwide movement.
